This past weekend, our Forensics team competed at the George Mason Patriot Games tournament, which is the largest fall high school tournament on the East coast.
Please congratulate Luke Scaletta for earning a semifinalist award in declamation. Luke delivered the “Hope Speech” by Harvey Milk.
Special recognition also goes to John Moses, who made his team debut in prose reading (“SantaLand Diaries” by David Sedaris) and impromptu speaking. John is the first middle-school student to compete for us at this tournament since Liam Fowl and Kurt Imhoff in 2008.
